Multi-tasking to the nth level sure is hard.
Attendance report, overtime records, clients calling, organize Rockwell event, download resumes, call applicants, cancelled credit card still active, and Tagaytay not pushing thru.
Let's call it a day.

Farewell 2007
My top 10 realization for year 2007:
10. You can't always please everyone. You do everything just to make everybody happy, yet people still seem dissatisfied. Next year, no more sugar coating. No more people-pleasing.
He should be the one organizing the outings. Out trip to "Harong ni Charing" was a huge success because of him. :P
8. Being mataray has its perks. You get what you want, and people actually listen! :)
7. Being only one of two HR people in the company is hard work. We do everything from organizing events, taking care of leaves and absences, to corporate giveaways. Fun, but stressful.
6. There are people whom you consider your friend but only use you. This year, I felt some of my "friends" only reach out when they need something. Users talaga. I learned my lesson.
4. Working at my previous company indeed traumatizes employees. When I left more than a year ago, I was debating whether i should stick with HR or not, because of the bad experience i've had with recruitment. Same pala with my former colleagues. They have been wanting to leave the company, but they want another career path; na-traumatize na sila ng HR doon. Gash.
3. Be nice to credit card representatives, so they won't pressure you into availing anything (credit cards or loan applications). Talk to them nicely, as if you're talking to an old friend. ;)
2. My STUVs are the best! I've known them since i was 7. I don't have to pretend like i'm somebody else when I'm with them. They know me from the roots of my scalp to the ingrown on my toenail! They always know how to have good, clean fun. Cheers to Peper, Lara, and Dada!!
and my top 1 realization for this year:
1. ANG PANSIT LUCBAN NG BUDDYS ANG LINALAGYAN NG SUKA, HINDI ANG PALABOK NG AMBER. SIR RAIN, HAPPY NEW YEAR SAYO. BOW.
--
My birthday is just 2 weeks away! May gulay, i'm really getting old. Take note, WISH is the operative word here. For my birthday, I want: a Dunder Mifflin notepad or mug (see my previous entries where these can be bought.. hehe); an electronic dictionary and thesaurus found at National Bookstore; an "I SURVIVED THE SIEGE" shirt from Manila Peninsula (hehe.. suot ito ng caterer nung Christmas party, ang galing ng concept..hehe); gift certificate from MAC or Rustan's; Sephora lipstick (I want this certain shade I bought 4 years ago, pero parang they don't sell it anymore. The item number has faded already, kaya pahirapan ng paghanap ng shade na ito); an ipod video; and a lunchbox that can keep my food warm for 8 hours (similar to my lunchbox in grade school).
Hehehe.
Wishful thinking, I know. :P
But seriously, probably the best birthday present i could ever have is my mom coming home for a vacation. She has not gone home since 2002. I saw her summer of last year, but one month isn't enough. I hope the US government could process her papers already.
--
My body totally cooperates with my work. I always get sick during vacations, pero pag may pasok na, nawawala agad. The day after the Christmas party, which was a Saturday, I woke up with a runny nose and a sore throat. My whole body was aching until Monday. Come Christmas day, I got sick. As in umabot ng 40-41 ang temperature ko. I didn't even bother taking medicine, thinking I can just call in sick the following day. Lo and behold, when i woke up Wednesday morning, my temperature was only 36.7. NASAAN ANG LAGNAT KUNG KAILAN KO KAILANGANG MAGKASAKIT???

May surprise ako sa 2008. Makikita niyo :P
