green foundation

When i had my appointment with my derma last week, she gave me one of the best make-up advises there is. A few years back, when she was still a stage actress, she would put on green foundation to cover up blemishes and scars on her face; then, she would top it off with foundation that is the same color as her skin. in short, green foundation works a lot better than concealers.

I decided to follow her advise for our christmas party tonight. Yesterday, i went to Ever Bilena, Galleria, to buy this green foundation (the brand my derma recommended). This is how my very short conversation with the saleslady went:

Me: "Miss, may green foundation kayo?"
Saleslady: "Out of stock po, para sa mga mapuputi lang po yun".

Hello?!?!?! i didn't know whether to laugh or feel offended. you think i'll just put on the green foundation without applying a brown one?

It made me realize, people usually hurt other's feeling without them knowing it. Don't you agree?

Anyway, good thing i don't get offended easily. Why should I? I have the best skin color! :o)
