thank God the sun was shining this morning.. it wasn't raining anymore!! i despise bagyo..it wakes me up every freakin night.. i am SO over the rainy season.. such a hassle to bring a big umbrella every single day. i came to work last monday before 7, only to find out that work has been suspended due to the storm, since there's no trading in PSE. but i guess it's part of my job to tell everyone that work for the day is suspended..
anyway, i met up with mike finally last wednesday to hear his presentation on financial solutions.. the presentation is all about teaching people how to save, and recruit people and teach them how to save (with me so far?). he asked me if i'm interested to either join in helping people save money, or save money myself thru their help. mike (and his trainor, his cousin, actually, who also happens to be a former employee of chinabank..small world..) told me it's not a networking business. but then, come on. they earn money ONLY IF they can get others to save money with their financial solution. so doesn't that count as networking? i know i want to earn more money, but in a better way. so two words for you, mike. NOT. INTERESTED. for now, though.
and dinner with my COLF buddies pushed thru last friday. it's always fun to spend time with them. we all have different personalities, but somehow, we end up hanging out together for some reason.. fun fun, even if we were not complete. sobrang daming chismis. so many stories to share with so little time. and terri and i will soon be boxing buddies..hehehe.. i swear, i was surprised she wanted to learn boxing.. we'll try boxing in eastwood sunday morning.. i'm super glad i finally have a boxing partner :o) yipee!
and i just found out that sophie kinsella is starting her book 5 of the shopaholic series.. and the shopaholic movie is currently shooting in London.. ooohhhh... i am soo excited! i'm such a big big fan of ms. Kinsella :)
yep, and no friday night dinner for me tonight.. i have a date at home with my younger bro..hindi na daw namin ginagamit yung videoke.. so he requested if we can have a videoke night.. sounds fun! :o)
speaking of my 10-yr old brother.. last tuesday we were watching ellen.. he started imitating the commentator.. “and now, here's ellen degeneres!”, and started dancing like ellen, at the same time asking me, “Bakit siya tinawag na generous?”.. i didn't understand at first, so he elaborated.. “Diba, tawag sa kanya Ellen The Generous?” hahaha.. funny, little boy =P
