Blogging at Work

I am sleepy. And tired. And I’m sick of recruitment!!!!!! Seriously. I love my job. I can't imagine myself doing something other than HR-related work. But geez how I hate recruiting. I don’t mind interviewing applicants, doing write ups, and endorsing them to officers. But when people take the job as a stepping stone, and leave our company after only a few months, shet, parang back to square one. And I hate it when other multinational companies pirate our programmers after they’ve had experience. Tangina talaga. Maghanap kayo ng sarili niyo!

I want to be under employee and labor relations or Training department. It's still part of HR naman, diba?Huhuhu.

On a lighter note, I will be having dinner with my STUVs tonight at Serendra. I hope nobody cancels this time (calling Dada).

Bowling tournament has come and gone. I am proud to say I am no longer at the bottom 3. After 3 years, I think it’s about time I get a higher score, right? From 166 points (my score last year) to 243.. big improvement, I must say :P Being in 28th place (out of 40 players) isn’t bad. :D

Sadness.

I am so stressed. Tired. Sleepy. Harassed.

Bowling tournament on Friday and I'm nowhere near done!!!!

On a lighter note, we decided to have a bowling practice at Eastwood last night. To date, my highest score is 87. Not bad. :D Dapat pala 9 ang weight ng ball ko, hindi 7. Hehehehe

Finally!

After 18 long years, my parents have finally decided to get our house renovated. I think my dad was actually planning to have our house fixed once he retires from Del Monte. It's about time our house gets a new look! :D

Our oven has been broken for a few months now. When I asked my dad if he'll get it fixed, all he said was, "Oo nga pala. Sige, ipapaayos ko, habang nandito pa ako". What does that mean?! I know he wants to move to the US after the renovation, but still...

On to other news.. our bowling tournament is next week! I have joined the annual competition twice, and i was in the bottom 3 TWICE. Embarrassing, I know. But i have to defend myself. I always get stressed out whenever our company has events like these. I compute the scores, check if the food has been delivered on time, if the employees have additional orders, and see who the winners are. I can't totally focus on the game. Work is more important, after all.

I need to go to sleep now. I have a tutorial class with Em tomorrow at 8. She'll teach me AGAIN how to use GIMP so i can create the bowling invitation already. :P
